Marketing Summit in Prague
As a part of the Roche Marketing Summit in Prague, participants were able to experience a deep dive into the Metaverse.
- Timeframe: 09.11.2022
- Challenge: These days, everyone is aware of the Metaverse trend. However, you cannot fully understand the Metaverse unless you have spent more than 10 minutes in it.
- Solution: In groups of up to 15 participants, each person was equipped with an Oculus Quest 2 for one hour. Various spatial rooms were visited to learn how to use the VR goggles and controllers, as well as to understand business use cases in the Metaverse.
- Added value: The employees of Roche Holding AG were able to learn how to interact with the Oculus Quest 2 and try out the various functions of the Metaverse to form their own opinions.
The Roche marketing team from various countries came for the “EL Digital & Growth Marketing Summit 2022” event in Prague. Various masterclasses were held throughout the day. These included our Metaverse Experience, in which the respective groups interacted with the Oculus Quest 2 for an hour and were able to meet their colleagues in the Metaverse. They were able to learn important functions such as moving around in VR worlds, interacting with colleagues, and displaying 3D models.
In total, between 3-4 spatial rooms were visited and illustrated how other companies such as Vogue use the metaverse for marketing purposes.
Beyond the Metaverse Experience, Nick Sohnemann’s speech “What the fu** is the Metaverse?” contributed to a shared understanding of the Hot Topic.
