Once again this year, we planned and organized an inspirational trip for SAP and its EMEA North partners.
We went to Potsdam, Berlin and Helsinki.

- Challenge: Nowadays, many companies face the challenge of being innovative. Inspiration becomes more and more important!
- Solution: An inspirational trip to three cities: Potsdam, Berlin, and Helsinki. There, participants were able to gain exciting insights into start-ups, corporates, and universities on the topics of Customer Experience 2.0, tech trends, and business model innovation.
- Added value: The participants were able to get to know inspiring people, business models, and processes far away from their day-to-day work. They were also able to try out the latest tech gadgets live.
In Detail
The inspirational trip started on the 17th of April at the SAP Innovation Center in Potsdam with a visit to the D-Shop and SAP’s innovation lab for developers. This was followed by a visit to the Hasso Plattner Institute, which focuses on entrepreneurship. We spent the second day in Berlin and visited Ecosia (a search engine that plants trees), the Bosch IoT Campus, and the startup Aitme, which has developed a cooking robot that we were able to test live at the AI Campus. The next morning we took the plane to Helsinki. There we spent the whole afternoon at Aalto University, which is one of the pioneers worldwide. Thursday was characterized by visits with a high experience factor at IQM (Quantum Computing), Canatu (Carbon Nanotubes), Varjo (8k Mixed Reality Headset), and Oura (Ring as a health device). At the end of the week, we visited DAIN Studios, a consulting company, and ended this exciting journey with a debriefing.
