Marketing Summit Prag 2022

During the Roche Marketing Summit in Prague, participants were able to experience a deep dive into the Metaverse.

  2. Herausforderung: The Trend Topic Metaverse is known to everyone these days. Nevertheless, you can't completely understand the Metaverse without having been there once, and for longer than 10 minutes.
  3. Lösung: In groups of up to 15 participants, each person was equipped with an Oculus Quest 2 for one hour. Together they visited different Spatial rooms to learn how to use the VR goggles and controllers, but also to understand business use cases in the Metaverse.
  4. Mehrwert: Roche Holding AG employees were able to learn how to interact with the Oculus Quest 2 and try out the various functions of the Metaverse and form their own opinions.

Im Detail

Roche’s marketing team from various countries came together at the “E-L Digital & Growth Marketing Summit 2022” event in Prague. There were several masterclasses throughout the day. Among them was our Metaverse Experience, where the respective groups interacted with the Oculus Quest 2 for one hour and could meet their colleagues in the Metaverse. Here important functions like moving around in VR worlds, interacting with colleagues but also showing 3D models could be learned.

In total, between 3-4 Spatial rooms were visited, illustrating how other companies such as Vogue use the Metaverse for marketing purposes.

Beyond the Metaverse Experience, Nick Sohnemann contributed to a common understanding of the hot topic in his keynote “What the fu** is the Metaverse?”.
