The XREAL Air 2 Pro is a pair of AR glasses that projects an image of up to 330 inches into your field of view. Two Sony micro-OLED panels deliver 1920 × 1080 pixels per eye at up to 120 Hz; the glasses connect over USB-C to a laptop, a smartphone or a games console.
What sets them apart from the plain Air 2 is electrochromic dimming: the lenses darken in three steps, from clear through semi-transparent to opaque. The surroundings therefore stay visible or disappear entirely, as needed. At 75 grams the glasses are light enough for longer sessions, and they need no computing power of their own – the image comes from the connected device.
