Touch-free control by hand gesture
The Ultraleap 3Di is a stereo infrared camera for touch-free interaction in public installations. Precise hand tracking allows applications to be operated without contact – at kiosks, in retail or in museums, where it replaces conventional touchscreens.
With a field of view of 170° × 170°, a range of up to one metre and 90 fps, it captures hand movements reliably. 850 nm infrared LEDs keep tracking stable even in difficult lighting, and IP54 certification makes it robust enough for continuous use.
Use cases
Controls public kiosks and terminals by hand gesture – hygienic and touch-free, with no contact surfaces at all.
Operates machines and robots in manufacturing contact-free by gesture and so improves efficiency and workplace safety.
Enables intuitive gesture control in 3D design software so prototypes can be tested and iterated faster.
