Robot and transporter in one
Loomo is a self-balancing transport robot by Segway Robotics, a subsidiary of Ninebot, which acquired Segway Inc. in 2015. It combines the ride technology of a self-balancing Segway with camera-based perception: two cameras handle face and obstacle detection.
As a personal vehicle, Loomo reaches up to 18 km/h and a range of around 35 km. It is controlled and configured through the Loomo app, available for iOS and Android.
