Precise 3D printing by stereolithography
The Formlabs Form 2 is an SLA 3D printer: a laser cures liquid resin layer by layer to build up the model. This delivers high levels of detail and smooth surfaces.
With a build volume of 145 × 145 × 175 mm it suits prototypes, small production runs and precise models in architecture and design. Printing is operated and monitored via a touchscreen display.
Use cases
Produces precise prototypes quickly and cheaply so design flaws are caught before series production begins.
Produces small runs at high quality and low cost – ideal for bespoke, individualised components.
Prints bespoke models for prosthetics and medical devices, matched exactly to the needs of individual patients.
