Entertaining masterclasses are tailor-made for the Creative Week of the Serviceplan Group.
Connection of international locations using telepresence robots.
- Period: September 2021
- Challenge: To familiarise employees with relevant future topics in an entertaining way. Employees who could not be present on site must be given the opportunity to take part in in-house events.
- Solution: Conception of five presentations that included interactive elements and live testing of various technologies. In addition, telepresence robots were provided, and international employees were trained in their use.
- Added Value: Employees were introduced to future topics such as NEW WORK or CRYPTOCURRENCIES in a playful way. At the same time, they learned the practical use of various technologies and their possible applications in business environment, without violating applicable hygiene conditions.

In detail
The Creative Week is part of a series of internal events organized by the Serviceplan Group at its headquarters in Munich. The focus here lies on education and creative exchange among the employees. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the training lectures were offered on a hybrid basis because several international employees were unable to be physically present.
In consultation with Serviceplan, five interactive lectures were created and presented. The subjects covered were New Work, China Insights, Cryptocurrencies, Digital Health, and Sustainability. The FUTURE CANDY STREAMING STUDIO in Hamburg and an internal auditorium of the Serviceplan Group were used for the presentation. For virtual participation, employees only needed MS Teams. After each presentation, the topic was discussed in a Q&A session.
In addition, two BEAM PRO telepresence robots were installed on-site to give international employees the opportunity to give presentations and to participate in the following get-togethers.
