FUTURE CANDY as a guest at trendCOM 21. The festival took place not only live but also in hybrid form, in virtual reality and online sessions.

Delivering an interactive talk in virtual reality. Training participants in using the hardware involved.
More than 40 sessions, over 25 speakers, 400 minutes of exclusive content and a unique community of 500 participants from all over Germany – that was trendCOM 21. The hybrid event focused on current trends in communication. Communication, presentation and collaboration with digital tools were especially prominent. Perfect conditions, then, for experiencing what alternatives there are to dull Zoom calls. For a selected group of 30 participants, FUTURE CANDY provided virtual reality headsets in advance and trained them in their use. During the festival, the keynote by our founder Nick Sohnemann could take place in a virtual auditorium – with participants spread across Germany. A virtual get-together followed, at which Nick exchanged views with participants and answered their questions.
What stuck
in the end.
Participants learned how to work with VR headsets and could form their own picture of what the technology can already do today. In a rousing keynote they were briefed on the challenges heading for their industry.
