Techfest Münsterland: experiencing the tech community at first hand
At the Techfest in Münsterland, the region turned into a hotspot for tech enthusiasts once again. A day full of insights, networking and hands-on experiences with the newest technologies. FUTURE CANDY made it tangible how 2026 trends are shaping the world of work and the tech scene – with a keynote by Nick Sohnemann and interactive stations including smart glasses and the Holobox Mini.

FUTURE CANDY set up an interactive tech corner and presented best practices from companies around the most important tech trends of 2026 in a keynote.
Keynote – tech trends 2026. In his keynote, Nick gave insights into the technologies and trends shaping the world of work and the tech landscape in 2026. He presented best practices from companies successfully deploying innovative technologies, from AI-supported work processes to immersive applications. Participants received concrete examples of how tech already creates value today. Tech corner – smart glasses & Holobox Mini to try out. In the tech corner, visitors could test the newest technologies for themselves. XREAL Air 2 Ultra: experiencing screenless working – the glasses make the digital workspace mobile and hands-free. Even Realities G1: live translation, navigation, teleprompting and AI-driven features. Visitors could see how smart glasses make the working day more efficient. Meta Ray-Ban Display glasses with neural wristband: gesture control via the neural band, hands-free calls, Meta AI features and live translation, all controlled from the wrist. Holobox Mini: making immersive 3D greetings and product presentations tangible.
