FUTURE CANDY brings tech & hacking vibes to RUBY
Two cities, two openings, one goal: making innovation tangible! FUTURE CANDY was there when RUBY opened its new co-working spaces in Düsseldorf and Munich. With interactive tech demos, a hands-on hacking workshop and plenty of inspiration we helped shape the events – and showed how digital technologies can change the working day.

Ruby wanted to turn the openings of its new workspaces into a genuine experience – and needed a tech partner delivering innovation you can touch.

FUTURE CANDY provided the wow moments with smart technologies and a hacking workshop. Guests could test interactive tools, discover security gaps – and touch the future of work along the way.
Tech to touch: the Sony xPeria Touch in action. In both locations the xPeria Touch turned every surface into an interactive touchscreen. Guests scrolled, clicked and experimented – directly on tables and walls. That is what presenting looks like today. Showing your face with Face Detect. The face recognition technology "Face Detect", developed by Fraunhofer, demonstrated live how precisely modern AI systems work – and how they can be used in security or retail contexts. Hands-on hacking with the Flipper Zero. The highlight for many: our interactive hacking workshop with the Flipper Zero. In small sessions, participants learned how RFID, NFC and radio frequencies work – and how easily some systems can be manipulated. A real eye-opener for anyone who knew IT security only from the manual. Chilling, chatting, experiencing the future. Between barista coffee, beats and cocktails there was networking, laughter and one recurring question: "How secure is my office, actually?" Exactly the right mix of lightness and depth. What remains? Enthusiastic guests who did not just see technology but experienced it. Two openings that did not feel like classic openings. What stuck
in the end.
Through the mix of entertainment and edutainment we gave visitors new impulses for their working day. And Ruby showed that its spaces are not only stylish but technologically up to date.
