Singapore innovation journey
In May 2023, FUTURE CANDY flew to Singapore on an innovation journey for the first time, together with the asset manager Amundi and the innovation consultancy Pioneers. The aim of the trip was to explore Singapore's vibrant innovation landscape, create valuable networking opportunities and take inspiration from forward-looking companies and technologies.

Giving participants an intensive experience of Singapore's innovation ecosystem and supplying them with valuable insights into and inspiration from forward-looking technologies and companies.

Organising a bespoke innovation journey to Singapore that offered participants a range of visits to innovative companies, start-up incubators and fintech firms. They were also accompanied by experts on the ground who shared their personal experience and insights.
The trip began with an introduction to Singapore and its distinctive start-up ecosystem. A German expert based there shared his personal success story with participants and gave insights into Singapore's dynamic business culture. A local guide then led the group through Singapore and brought its unique characteristics and innovation scene closer to them. The second day began with a visit to the start-up incubator TENITY, where promising fintech start-ups introduced themselves to the group and shared their business concepts with the visitors. Next came a visit to the Amundi Singapore office, where the delegation was received by Albert Tse, CEO of Amundi Singapore, and shown around. Exciting start-up pitches followed there from the founders of Invigilo, Concrete AI and WorldX. Dinner was an invitation to traditional Singaporean food and drink. On the third day the delegation dived deeper into the world of innovation and visited inspiring companies such as Airwallex, ByteTrade Lab and the Campari Group. Between meetings there was authentic local cuisine to try, and the last day of the trip was crowned with dinner and a breathtaking view over Marina Bay. On departure day the delegation visited the Julius Baer Innovation Hub, where they experienced the future of banking. The group then visited ARD German Radio and Television for insights into the changing media landscape. The trip ended with an exploration of the innovative Changi Airport. Conclusion: the innovation journey had a lasting effect on all participants. They gained deep insights into Singapore's innovation ecosystem, made valuable contacts and took inspiration from pioneering companies and technologies.
