A keynote bringing the individual topics together and making the possibilities of AI and circular economy clear.
After a short introduction to FUTURE CANDY, Leon opened the keynote with a thought experiment about what our future could look like in 20 years. That hypothetical future could be reached by shifting from a linear economy to a circular economy. Leon began by explaining various economic models, illustrated with vivid examples. The topic of AI was then explored in more depth. Alongside an introduction to what AI is, programmes such as ChatGPT and Midjourney were presented to make the benefits and use cases of AI software clear. But how are AI and circular economy connected? And how can companies implement innovative approaches through AI? To answer these questions, students were introduced to various companies, such as Toyota and its future vision of the Woven City. The overall aim of the keynote was to awaken the students' spirit of innovation and inspire them to build circular economy thinking and work with AI into their own study projects.
