Future keynote with a humanoid robot

In May 2025 we were out at two events – with two keynotes by Nick Sohnemann and our humanoid robot "Otto" on stage. Together we took the audience on a journey into the world of moonshots, technological transformation and the future of work.

The Challenge.

The task
we faced.

Making complex future topics tangible and staging them as an experience – for developers as well as for decision-makers in HR and tech.

The Solution.

Was wir daraus
gemacht haben.

Two keynotes with a storytelling character, supported by the humanoid robot "Otto". Interactive experiences in a tech corner and personal conversations with futuristic technologies.

QAware Engineering Camp 2025. Location: Ingolstadt | Keynote title: "Fly me to the Moonshot". The Engineering Camp combined festival feeling with developer spirit. In his keynote, Nick delivered a clear message: moonshots instead of micro-steps. Visionary thinking as the new standard for innovation. Keynote content: what is a moonshot – and why is it needed right now? Practical examples from disruptive companies. Personality profiles of successful moonshot makers. Interactive experiences on site: tech corner with QAware, Even Realities Smart Glasses G1 – spatial computing to try out, and "Otto", the humanoid robot – live in action, interacting and on stage at Nick's side. Participants could experience new technologies for themselves, try things out and discuss what potential this opens up for their own working environment. ATOSS Workforce Management Day 2025. Location: Munich-Ismaning | Keynote title: "Highway to Hell or Future?". How does productive work succeed in a world in flux? With that question, Nick took his second keynote of the day on an inspiring journey – from the pessimism of the present to actively shaping the future. Key messages of the keynote: two paths, paralysis through complexity or a move into new models; MediaMarkt as a case study in successful digital transformation; trends such as humanoid robots, AI, circular economy and new logics of leadership. Highlight: here too "Otto" was on stage and, after the keynote, provided conversation, selfies and a genuine future vibe. Interacting with the humanoid robot was not only a crowd magnet but a direct invitation to engage with new worlds of work. Conclusion: both events showed in their own way that future technologies need a stage and a dialogue. Whether developer camp or HR conference – with the right mix of storytelling, technology and interaction, a vision becomes an experience. Would you like "Otto" on your stage too? Then get in touch – we will bring the future boost straight to your event.

The payoff

What stuck
in the end.
