Our TECH FLAT does not only move companies to the front, but students at DHBW Heilbronn too. With four gadgets from TECH FLAT, students developed creative business ideas as part of a seminar.

As part of its integration seminar, DHBW Heilbronn gives students the chance to use FUTURE CANDY's technologies and involve them actively in developing ideas. This is where theory meets practice.
Through TECH FLAT, DHBW Heilbronn borrowed four different technologies for its students: a hologram projector, a mixed reality headset, a scent shooter and a Segway. FUTURE CANDY started with an intro seminar in which the various technologies were presented and explained in a mini masterclass. Technical support for questions and problems was also provided throughout the project. With these technologies, students developed creative, forward-looking business ideas. It shows that the tech gadgets take account of the megatrends of personalisation and digitalisation and are meant to help companies make digital content tangible at the point of sale and generate revenue. The students' business ideas: Hologram projector – using 3D visualisation, customers can have their shoes personalised live in store by staff. 3D models are stored in a playlist in a purpose-built app, through which individual wishes can be entered and displayed directly in the hologram. Mixed reality headset – the headset is intended for travel agencies. It could show customers an immersive travel experience while booking. With this technology, travel advisers can show customers various destinations and support the booking process digitally and tangibly. Scent shooter – with this device it should be possible to mix an individualised perfume for customers and dispense a scent sample directly in the shop. Customers fill in a questionnaire on lifestyle and various preferences at a terminal. An AI then generates the perfect scent, which can be tested immediately. Segway – in future the Segway is intended to solve the staffing problem on night shifts at airports. The robot can take over patrols at the airport, identify unattended luggage and other hazards, cordon off areas and transport people. TECH FLAT: TECH FLAT is your partner for the newest technologies.
